Specialist of children’s surgery
Born on 12th of December in Jajce
Finished elementary school and gymnasium in Banja Luka.
Graduated from Medical College in 1983 in Banja Luka.
Specialist exam passed in 1990 in Zagreb in Children’s clinic in Klaiceva.
Postgraduate study started in Zagreb and completed in Banja Luka, where he did his master in 1999 in the University of Banja Luka. Title of chief physician acquired in 2007.
At first, hired as the assistant trainee in 1984 in Medical College, and then went to Clinic Centre.
As the doctor specialist, he performed duties of Department chief for specialized activities, as well as of the chief of clinic for children’s surgery.
As a student, he was a student deputy dean. When he graduated, he did duties of a deputy of president of Faculty Council. Since the foundation, he is the member of the association “Grad (Town)”.
He was a member of Presidency of Association of children’s surgeons of Serbia and Montenegro, as well as the Expert Advice, Clinic Centre Banja Luka.
He published 27 works so far (as the author or co-author), he is the co-author of children’s surgery textbook.
He stayed at the education from urology in Belgrade on UDK Tirsova Belgrade in several occasions.
He finished the course of European school of urology in Belgrade, work shop from anorectal anomalies of professor Penna from USA, also in Belgrade, work shop of endoscopic solution of vesicoureteral reflux.
He did an education from management in health in England in 1999 and in Banja Luka in 2008.
The narrow area of interest is children’s urology, and he was the first in this area to introduce endoscopic urology, he performed over 300 operative procedures of hypospadias, and congenital anomalies in the urinary tract.
